Re: How To Reload Video

I'm pretty sure you got me beat. I think our oldest daughter was about 7 when she started pulling the handle for me. She's 38 now. Now I'm working on the grandkids. The 2 oldest at 10 & 15 have the Dillon 650 downpat. Now if I can just teach them the RockChucker and setting the dies...

Re: How To Reload Video

Is is safe to have a kid that young reloading lead bullets?

Reason why I ask is because my pediatrician had me answer a form where one of the questions was "Do you reload bullets at home?" When I answered yes on that one, they did a blood test on my kid to make sure he wasn't exposed to lead. He passed (I reload mostly jacketed bullets).

Re: How To Reload Video

My bench has a Dillon 550 on one side, and a Rockchucker on the other side facing it. Whichever one I'm using, my 2 year old son will be on the other one pumping away. Once he figures out how to work the brass and bullets I'll have it made!

You need to get her some nitrile gloves if she's loading lead, those little fingers have very soft skin and lead poisoning can happen very easily at her age. </div></div>
Yes, gloves and safety glasses. I don't wear safetly glasses when sizing, but once powder and primers are on the table, glasses go on. Otherwise, cool video!! What were you/she loading? (caliber)
