How to remove single shot follower

How do I remove a glued in single shoot follower? It's in a Remington 700 SA.

I did read a little bit how to remove it and it looks like you need to apply a little heat to remove it.

Heat gun from harbor freight. Heat, tap with a wooden punch, repeat. They pop right out.

You can also use a clothes iron. Set it on high, place it on the bottom of the action, wait ten to fifteen minutes and it will pop right off.
Clean out any epoxy while it's still warm.
