How can I tell if the rail on my MKiii is the original or aftermarket. Only markings on it say AI AE 20moa.

You have any reason to believe that it was changed? Reason I ask is that the AE rails were screwed and glued on. I don’t remember any talk about changing them out. Post a pic, they look somewhat unique, not a typical pic rail.
That's not original. The original rail didn't have cross slots the whole length, just randomly scattered, lol.
