How to upload a video

I'm so bad at this stuff. How do I upload a video from my computer downloads to a post?

You don't upload videos, you link to them. The site doesn't support full video uploading, that would be incredibly memory intensive and expensive.

Upload it to YouBoob or whatever and embed a link to it.

Correct. From Youtube select the full URL and paste it into the message. It will show up as a video
