Those A-Max 140 are a great round for 6.5x55 Swede. Love the stock on your rifle.

For what it's worth, that's a very light load for shooting 140 gr A-Max. You have pressure capability up in the neighborhood of 40 grains of Varget.

If I were loading, and this is just my opinion and nothing else, I would load Hodgdon 4831SC, start at around 45 grains and work up. But thats just me. H4831SC tops out at about 48 grains. Be smart, be safe, watch out for pressure signs, etc.

Just an opinion, nothing else.
