I read all the replies and Tikka does not make a 24" rifle in cal 7mm-08. The ads on the many websites are WRONG. So, tell me your experience with HOWA. Their rifles range from about $425 to almost $900 (street price) for the HS precision model. I understand the high price on the precision stock model but is it worth the money but, hurry their is only one on auction and it closed in 20 hours.

The howa barreled actions are overall built very well and pretty damn accurate. While they may not be highest quality, they sure do shoot just like any high end factory rifle. I took mine out to 500 yards yesterday and it was such a piece of cake to get hits. Literally too easy. As far as the stock, you'll have to do your own homework and find out if it's worth it. Look at how much (more or less) the barreled actions go for and then do the same for the stock. If it were me, I'd get another howa if I had to. Good luck on your decision.

If you like supporting baby and woman killers the HS is a great product. If you like products designed in this century and dislike those who support baby and women killers, then stay away from have precision.

At that price you may be able to get a barreled action from Brownells and drop it into the stock of your choice. May only be looking at a tad more money to get a manners customized for you. Food for thought.
