That being said, assuming that its performance against SARS-Cov-2 is similar, we should probably be giving it to vulnerable members of the population as a prophylactic if they are not susceptible to its potential side effects.

Exactly right. The Dems yell about "follow the science" on the Rona. Ok, then we should all be taking our malaria pills like we are about to ship off to NamJust like global warming, its not about listening to science. Its about listening to the science they want you to.
