I have been trying to remove the green paint from my 700p stock, I got almost all of it off. I just did this out of boredom, all of 5 minutes.

So to paint?

This could be alot better btw, I just rushed through it. It still hasn't dried either.

Or not to paint?

Ive done that before, not again.

I like to change stuff, upgrade later. Its hard to sell painted scopes.

I think its pretty easy to take paint off a stock, a barreled action and scope? not so much.

Here it is all together.

I have painted my rifles before. I usually start with a pattern I like then change it acouple times because im way too anal about that kinda thing, then I give up and either strip it all or go with a solid color.

This was actually just tan for the last week then I watched shooter and was inspired. lol

Looks good but I still haven't seen it out shoot my inferior stevens yet

(and for the haters it's an inside joke so relax)

But for real it looks good.

Good luck,

Yeah, well I think its more the inferior shooter than the inferior rifle.

But anyway, thanks.

I'm not so sure that's it. It may just be you haven't found the right hand load for your rifle yet.

Good luck pimp'n,
Merritt

I really havent shot many handloads yet. I need to find out my chamber length so I can get my bullets seated correctly.

Right now im just loading all my rounds a 2.790. I havent tried to figure out the whole "seating just off the lands" thing yet.

I'm not so sure that's it. It may just be you haven't found the right hand load for your rifle yet.
