Is there much difference between the HS pro series stock with the adjustable bedding block and the factory remington take of HS stocks?

I did not know that they had an "adjustable" bedding block. But the HS stocks on Remingtons are genuine HS units. Remington puts their pad on it, and call it a day.

If you're referring to the one with the adjustable length of pull vs. a 700P stock they are pretty close. The only exceptions being the barrel channel is for a remington varmint on the 700P vs. straight taper on the other and the mechanism to adjust the length of pull adds about 1 pound to the weight and $200 to the price.
