Over the holidays I went on a bit of spending binge and wanted to share some pics and experiences.

I love my TRG-22 and Premier setup but I never seemed to be able to get super comfy behind it. I got on the Kinetic Research Group pre order for their folding TRG butt stock. In short, I love it. The install is a breeze, looks like a factory option (to me at least), has tons of fingertip adjustability, and a solid thumb shelf.

Next I needed (wanted) a drag bag. I sent a few messages to Ceylon at Delta Outdoorsman and with his help I decided on the Eberlestock Drag Bag in military green. While I was at it I went ahead and got a matching X3 LoDrag. His price and service was outstanding and I had both items in 48 hours.

I have been using Federal 175g Match with very good results but decided it was time for a more custom load. Since I'm not currently set up to reload; I contacted Andrew McCourt of McCourt Munitions. I'm no ballistic genius but I tried to give him what little information I had and Andrew took it from there. He sent me numerous messages regarding the different loads he thought would yield the best performance. A few days later a package arrived with a sampling of 4 different loads.

The holidays have been very busy and have kept me from spending quality time trying the sample loads Andrew sent me. I can't wait evaluate them and have no doubt that these loads will perform fantastically! Tell Andrew what you want and you will get it. Prices were very very good and his customer service is unparalleled!

Sorry for the long winded post but I appreciate everyone's time and help! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thanks for posting, very nice rig!!

I know I always say this but I feel like I am Andrew's only customer because surely he can't have enough time to talk to anyone else (after all my PM's, phone calls, e-mails and texts) AND make outstanding ammo...but apparently he just doesn't sleep or something...maybe he has a time travel machine, I don't know.
He will get you set-up for sure, keep us updated.

That is some quality gear there.
I can truly echo your sentiments about Ceylon. Nothing but class there.

I guess I do not understand your gripe with the KRG grip not matching the factory Sako forgrip. The KRG green matches the Sako factory green (+1 for aesthetics), the KRG matches the exact lines of the factory Sako forend (+1 for aesthetics), the KRG vertical grip has some additional texturing/palm swell/thumb shelf (+ 1 for functionality), and it offers tremendous adjustability without the use of tools (+ 1 for functionality).
Oh yea, it folds (+1 for aesthetics and functionality).

And, for what its worth, I'm currently wearing my grandmother's old dress.

For clarity sake I will illustrate what TRG4ME is referring to. The TRG specific grips on our folder have a little tab that makes the lines of the grip panel mate up to the lines of the forend and one cosmetic line is shifted up by .1". When we had some mold issues we decided not to hold back the entire folding stock for a slight cosmetic issue that could take months to resolve. The way our folder looks now is less drastic by far than TRG-21/41 series.

While we understand and share the concern over perfection in form, we made a decision based on the concept of us making tools for shooters, just as I explained to you (I think) via email.

Also, yes the TRG specific panels are still planned and the panels swap out easily, it's two screws that hold on the panels. And no there is no bare metal showing anywhere, not sure where this comes from.

I deleted my previous posts out of common courtesy for KRG. Thank you acknowledging your customers concerns. I do hope KRG will start making the TRG specific swap out grips panels soon or recommend someone who does or who can make them. Massoud I'm glad you understand and share my concern, you your self can see how a simple cut of a line can change the look of a rifle take Sako trg 41-42. I want KRG to do well ,I want to buy high quality, innovative products from you 10 years from now. If I had this "aesthetics "concern others also will. Please make the grips for the TRG. Thank you
