Huskey H5000

Hello. I have a H5000 with the original 3x9 scope on it.
I looking to upgrade the scope. I don’t want to just order a new one and it doesn’t fit.
Anyone have any advice on the size I need for it? Thanks in advance.

Post pics, what kind of scope base does it have? Old Redfield style from the 60's? Depending on the scope size you may have to upgrade base and rings to get clearance
Base would the hard part to replace.

I'm pretty sure a scope base for a commercial Mauser 98 will fit it. EGW makes a scope base and so does Near manufacturing. With a picatinny base you can get yourself a set of modern style rings and install whatever scope you please.
