My wife is better than yours.

My wife. She is the daughter of a former 10th SFG(A) Sergeant Major. I have had her as my assistant instructor during military training (mountaineering, ice climbing, skiing) as I trusted her above any others. She is a World Champion Action Shooter and former Colorado State Women's Biathlon Champion.

You're golden too. Plus she rides: bonus

Mine is probably more reliable than I am. A little crazy but gets shit done. She'll cry. But she doesn't quit. Ever.

I once told her that she would've been one of the one's that made it when referencing the early pioneers here.

My wife prefers the bat to the gun for inside the house because she wants to mess up an intruder personally. I keep waiting for her to wrap it in barbed wire. She is from good viking stock and appears to have genetic memory for marauding. She can shoot if need be.

She has also undertaken to reverse engineer every pharmaceutical she can from plants she can get to grow here. I was a skeptic until she fed me a candy made from the bark of our cherry trees. Slightly cyangenic and the lungs open up to off gas it, and I can breath. Of course ten minutes later my face is numb... half doses it turns out.

She'll be here long after I am in a hole.

My wife is a Veterinarian (DVM). She has stitched me up after accidents, performed minor surgeries on me, and I'm not even going to mention which animal and human antibiotics are interchangeable.

She also grew up on a cattle ranch, and has an extensive knowledge of plant life and growing food. She actually did soils judging in college for fun.

Plus she can shoot fairly well...as in better than the average man. She did a stint as an Army Veterenarian, and got some of the basics down. However with just a few days of working fundamentals, she got a lot better. I have no doubt that she could qualify in the high sharpshooter/low expert range with both rifle and pistol.

Oh, and she let's me touch her boobies too...

I’m in the same boat. She’s a vet, and has stitched me up as well. Shoots, and shoots well. Raises her own animals, and is an excellent cook.

Asset. Knows how to shoot, hunt, and can process a deer. I think she invented John Wayne Toilet Paper.
She's a tough little gal, Sweet as sugar, and I'm lucky to have her. Probably close to half the guns in the locker are hers. Personally.
She also has all those old time skills, gardening, canning, preserving, cooking, sewing, raising kids. 46 years together.
We were fishing down at SPI, and several of us got up early to get on a boat. She fixed my breakfast. The other guys couldn't believe it. I didn't make her do it, nor require her to get up at that ungodly hour. She was raised in a family that hunted, her and her mom used to send off Dad and the boys with a good breakfast, and a sack lunch. I'm reaping the benefits of a great country up-bringing.
Our honeymoon was backpacking the Sierra, south to north, three summers in a row. Knows how to attend the opera, too.
