I Bought an APO R700 Saber from Cabelas

After tax, mil discount, and a gift card I'm out $700 for the .308 20" version. How bad did I fuck up and what $300 scope should I put on it?

According to some here, it is a remington and therefore trash. You might as well top it off with a SWFA fixed power and be done.

I had a 16x on a Savage 10FP, and aside from the host rifle and the 16x I liked the SWFA. I did consider the 3-15x but I'm not sold on the 1" body on that model.
