Gotta dumb question. I bought a Troy Industries Modular Combat Grip for an AR. It's a well built piece of equipment machined out of aluminum to act as a forward grip on a 1913 rail.

I use my front grips as storage compartments to hold spare Surefire 123 batteries. My question is that since the grip is made out of metal, if I keep batteries stored inside the grip am I going to drain the juice out of them since metal conducts electricity or am I over-analyzing and just in need of a vacation?
