Gunsmithing I got a question here on my savage

Can i take my savage model 10 in .223 and convert it to .308 win by getting a new bolt and barrel from midway??????????

you may only need the bolt head. and barrel. i changed a 30.06 to 300 win mag by swaping the bolt head.
you may need a different firing pin. some of the bolt heads have different size firing pin holes

i find it easier to get a new bolt. where can i aget a barrel and bolt other that sharp shooters supplie

....and the forward baffle is slightly different on short chamberings like the 223. This can be cut down if you cannot get another easily, I have done it.
