Huh? Hes wearing E7 stripes but he was an E4.

What a tard...I'm guessing all those shrooms, ecstasy, and shoe polish that he inhaled are having lasting effects. This idiot has some serious issues.

And I'm digging the old school US lapel pins.

Re: I guess you have to feel sorry for the guy

What a F%#$%&* j@ck@$$!!!

Just drag his disturbed ass out behind the building an put one in his head...save him the grief he's going to continue to have throughout his miserable life and the taxpayers some money!

Re: I guess you have to feel sorry for the guy

Put his ass in a small room with 4 or 5 men who have earned some of those medals and ribbons he is sporting and lock the door.

Repeat as necessary until he figures out why he is a shitbag.

Re: I guess you have to feel sorry for the guy

Why would you want to feel sorry for a trash talking poser who was already kicked out of the USAF for drug use?

Re: I guess you have to feel sorry for the guy

Wearing the Green Beret without passing the Q Course normally results in death(There's an AR for it).

Hard to believe he's still alive.

I believe that all airborne members of a SFG are issued green berets. Q course gets you a tab. Not that I think for a second that guy was ever in a group much less tabbed. Senior parachutist HALO served in Kosovo and two tours in Iraq & Afganistan and a special operations diver, WOW. All from the Air Force, impressive.

Re: I guess you have to feel sorry for the guy

What a miserable and pathetic little man. Something in his little peanut made him think he could get away with this, that it was a good idea, and this was how he could "buy" some self-worth.

I do feel sorry for him. I still want to kick his ass, but I'd feel sorry for him while I did it.

No dude. SF Groups are different. You're thinking of Ranger Batts. You got the two confused.

I know a (very) few AFSOC guys who can legitimately make those claims, but he ain't one of 'em.

Yes. The Clothing and Sales Store is a treacherous place. I can't begin to imagine what this poor guy has been through. Just the look on his face and you know that he must have been in every battle from Aisle 1 to Aisle 10.

I dare say it, but I think I see a ribbon from the Battle of Blousing Strap. He must have fought many a mall ninja and wannabe to get each and every one of those medals, ribbons, and awards.

He is a true American Zero.

I will now drop a deuce in his honor.

Nope you are confused. I have a couple of buddies in SF National Guard units who never went to the Q course but wear green berets. No selection process for them what so ever.

Wasp/Eddie, LOL, I misquoted the article in his favor the article said:

So that should have read "Seven years in and only an E4!" which is even worse than what I originally said LOL. What a dick-head!

I feel sorry for his son. According to the original story, this fellow was coming on base to attend his son's graduation.

The guys who have earned those medals are above that. I'd be surprised if they would be interested in wasting their time.

Prior to 1992 SFG airborne personel got issued green ones with candy stripes. The flash and tab make the distinction. Kinda pissed all the tabbed guys off. Least that's what I remember. It's all kinda foggy really. Glad the army changed it, it never felt right.

Re: I guess you have to feel sorry for the guy

That's about right. All of our guys had green ones until 93 or maybe 94. Then it was airborne barret unless you were tabbed.

I have seen non-tabbed personnel wearing the maroon beret of an airborne unit, with the flash of an SF Group.

Quite a double take when I first saw it.

I've also seen tan berets with flashes of a unit other than the 75th, but that's a different story.

I feel bad for those with Autism or Tourettes, not druggies.

I don't confuse stupidity, professional jealousy, and wanting to puff up at "those" (military in general) that fucked him up in the past with mental illness.

You have a guy who got himself a Big Chicken Dinner and reduction to E-1 after pleading guilty to multiple drug charges, all after serving for a few years and making it up to E-4 so he knew a thing or two about the Air Force. He gets the boot and tells who knows how many fake ass stories of his combat prowess to unsuspecting idiots, because why admit you're a convicted felon when you don't have to?

He then goes to a Army base with more medals than Saddam and Qadaffi put together, and he wants to speak with the CSM about guys not licking his boots and kissing his ass when this poser hasn't the foresight to at least get a pair of patent leather shoes to go with his costume. The guy is an idiot, not ill.

This isn't some delusional individual who truly thinks he was this war hero, this is a druggie piece of shit who should validate those jump wings sans parachute. He wasn't discharged on a psych, he was a guilty pleading convicted druggie felon who got the boot.

Again I say, why in the hell would I want to feel sorry for this piece of garbage? Should I feel sorry for one of these pieces of trash too? You can see by the pitiful look on his face that he knew damn good and well that what he was doing was wrong, not that he was living in some false mental state where he actually believed he was this supposed war hero.

Stupidity and arrogance isn't a mental illness, and it shouldn't be treated as such. This guy needs to be laughed at and publicly humiliated (already done), not be felt sorry for.

That kind of stupidity and arrogance is almost beyond what I could imagine. I can't imagine anyone so stupid as to attempt it on a military installation, especially in such an outlandish and poorly-done fashion. But, then again, there are idiots who try to pass themselves off as a lot of things and who get caught at it every day.

Let's agree that the guy shouldn't have left his "interview" with even so much as a button remaining on him, much less the stripes.

It's green. What you're seeing is a trick of the lighting in the room.

So far I have just on the beret, a SF Crest, and a JSOC flash.
