Suppressors I have a delima!!

Re: I have a delima!!

A 1911 might be alittle frustrating for a first time handgun owner. You have to learn to love them and so does your wallet.

SA loaded is a good starter if you end up going that route.

Re: I have a delima!!

I've been carrying a 1911 Officers model since the day after my 21'st birthday. Thirty days later I took a hack saw to it. After about 4 years of tweaking it, I finally got it how it remains today. It has an insane number of rounds though it (somewhere on the order of 80 - 100,000) and it will still feed empty cases from the magazine and make ragged holes at 15 yds. That being said, coming out of the gate today I would look at an XD.

Cheers,

Doc

Re: I have a delima!!

The biggest reason I like 1911's is the trigger. In comparison most glocks and double actions suck IMO.

That being said, I have one of the kimber ultra sized 45's and I cant hit anything with it. a 3" 45 is quite challenging to master.

I didn't see Kimber Ultras as being terribly difficult to shoot. More pleasurable than a lightweight commander.

After this the 1911 may have the edge

Any guesses on how many rounds?
