I said that for years, but then PMII 5-25s started popping up online for ~$2200 with no tax and free shipping. That is significantly less than an ATACR or a Razor HD Gen II. Now I have several and it's hard to go back.

I don't think you can find those prices at this exact moment, but I bought two 5-25s with Gen 2 XR reticles over the summer at that price. Optics Planet had some crazy deals going on, and EuroOptic matched them to the dollar. I bought mine from EuroOptic because those guys have been great to me. I would suggest checking Optics Planet once a week or so if you are in the market; they change their promotions all the time. I will try to post on here next time I see a crazy deal.

I remember the first system I brought up on line almost 40 years ago. Somehow I had the production system pointing to the test databases. Got in my normal time of 7:00AM, all was quiet till about 9:00AM. The phone did not stop ringing for almost a hour! I thought it was funny. Some of my test product descriptions were, ‘interesting’. It was Animal House type descriptions. Oh well.

P4F means P4 Fine, meaning the lines of the reticle are finer and cover up less of the target. Other than that the reticles are identical. The "L" designator means illuminated.

I found many pictures of the P4 with a simple google image search.
