The new one is in the foreground. Seems VERY light, and I am keeping it that way, with just the TA11 Acog on it. This will be my "go-to" rifle.

The other is also a 16", but for more precision-type shooting, with a 2.5-10x44 Vortex up top, and a bipod.

Very nice,Tom! We need to get together and do some shooting out at U.S. Shooting Academy. I also have a membership out there and I've been looking for someone to get some range time with.

I am really working on my skills, so I am not the most consistent shooter, yet. Today, I shot better on Steel than on paper, perhaps I am not keeping my focus on the crosshairs?

Anyway, with the Vortex 2.5-10x, I shot this today at 300y. 5 shot group, on steel, with a business card for perspective.

Looks like 1.5" or 2" to me, about 1/2 MOA, (FGMM ammo) which is what I have heard that these rifles do, but I really think a better shooter and handloader could squeeze more out of it.

Nice to see a few POFs around, Since both of you guys Tomthe baker and killshot are using Magpul PRS stocks was wondering what buffer are you guys using? Ended up with a 11.5 oz anti-tilt buffer from heavy buffers but sometimes the bolt won't close all the way. Putting in a stronger spring to try and cure the issue. By the way nice shooting Tom.

Good to see you on here, Tom. Nice rifles are even more addictive than nice knives, so consider your bank account warned!

I use the standard rifle length buffer from DPMS with no issues.

I considered using an Enidine but after reading where others had them leak all over the rifle, I decided to stay away from it. I purchased a Primary Weapons Systems FSC30 compensator instead and it works wonders.

bm11 isn't joking about that, either! LoL

I heard Enindine fixed the leaking issue. But, only time will tell. So far, I have no issues with them.
