So the Glendale PD tries to sweep this bullshit under the rug but they taped it all and said tape ended up all over the local news. Governor Ducey watches the evening news and sees said bullshit, upon hearing on the news how Glendale PD tried to sweep this shit under the rug Governor Ducey asks the FBI to investigate. The behavior in the video is the exception but when the PD tries to say nothing was done wrong it makes the whole dept. look like shit. The Governor bringing in the FBI goes a long way to restore faith in those who are supposed to protect and serve.

This said, I am friends with a lot of cops, who do the job to serve their communities. They are the guys who understand the grey areas. Also these guys who are excited to swap pics and stories about each others new firearms, shooting, and hunting. Just good people.

The point is not the FBI, the point is Governor Ducey called BS on the PD and the county prosecutor whose office initially declined to bring charges against the cops is now “personally” reviewing the case since the FBI intervention makes him look like the ass he is. This case may or may not yield a conviction but it will make everyone involved think twice the next time this situation comes up and that is a win for everyone. I am truly tired of the 1% of shitbag cops getting a pass because they are cops and making whole departments look bad.

Until LEOs are held personally responsible for their actions and not a Dept. or Agency taking the hit and paying out, this SHIT will go on and on.
"We have investigated ourselves and can find no wrong doing." just doesn't cut it for me.

For what it is worth, the video I can see here doesn't tell me much at all and the article does mention Meth being in the vehicle so without more info on that I will make no judgment.

I do strongly believe that LEO Depts. or Agencies need to Police their own ranks from within and weed out the people not cut out to do the job. And as stated above, individual "Officers" that do something bad need to be held personally accountable and pay for their unlawful actions instead of the Insurance or if self insured the Dept. or Agency paying it out and the "Officer or Officers" involved in wrong doing need to be judged by the same laws that everyone else is held to

If they are guilty, off to Jail or Prison and made to pay financially for their actions. and take away the Badges and firearms as they have proven themselves not fit for the job. In other words,"You're FIRED.

Well, the guy was being a dick...and this is how cops react to you not doing their bidding. I stated in the other thread, that time was on the cops side. No need to rush it like they did.

Being tased 11 times...well is just fucking ridiculous, showing all those leo's being inept to do a professional job. I always notice, all the other ones just stand there and watch what happens. They just get everyone around them amped up like they are, instead of deescalating the situation.

The leo suporters will defend it by stating those guys were just following the law. Good job bro. I think leo's should be above this in professionalism.
