I was going to buy a hawk tactical 30 but I am not for sure I want to pay 400 dollars for a 22lr scope. Should I get a Bushnell 3200 or a SS 10x for less money? I must have exposed turrets. The rifle is a CZ so I want a decent scope for it. What should I do?

Well I went with another vortex viper. I ordered one of the closeouts from CSTactical. It doesn't have exposed turrets but it will be a good scope.

Weaver V16 on my 452 varmint has worked perfectly, it'll shoot dime size groups at 50 yds all day long. It's been on there for quite awhile and been banged around with no problems whatsoever.

I like the T series by Weaver. seen them on other forums for under $350 + side is they can be used more that just .22s

Nikon pro staff, it's not too tactical but for the $$ it's a heck of a deal.

An older redfield 3x9. These can be found used and they have some nice glass for an inexpensive scope.

I run a Mueller APT 4.5-14 on my CZ. Its a great scope for the money. I think SWFA has them for about $140. The AO will focus down to 10 yards. Target turrets (1/4 MOA) and mil dot. If it were mil/mil it would be damn near perfect, but for the price you can't be too picky.

I have covered the spectrum with my scopes. I have a USO SN3 1.8-10 on my 40X and a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14 on my CZ452. Both work great for me.

I have a Sight Mark 4-16x44 scope on my TR R. It is a good scope in the $200.00 + range. Mil Dot, 1/8" MOA locking knobs. I used it on my Tikka .308 for awhile with good results. Check them out on their web site.

Thanks for the replies. I am already somewhat regretting my decision. There is nothing wrong with the scope but it is not going to do what I bought the rifle for. I'm probably going to start a Ruger 10/22 build soon and I might use the vortex for that. I might try a SS 10x or a Bushnell 3200 mil/mil for the CZ. I was just afraid that a fixed 10x would not do well for low light conditions.
