I need A Gun Case

Guys I am looking for a high quality gun case. But the length has got to be pretty specific.

Overall rifle length is 45-1/2". I want a case that is at least 5 " thick(hard case). 6" would be even better. And I want a single gun case.

Now here is the problem. The exterior dimension of the case can be no longer than 51". Preferably an inch or so shorter.

I have been looking at every case I can find on the net for close to a week. I can't find one that fits these dimensions. Anybody have any ideas. Such as a small mfr. that would make me a case for a reasonable price??

I did find one that was 50" long on the outside. But the thickness of the case is 3". I want more protection than that. Heck my NF scope is 3" thick at the knobs??

I had already looked at the Americase web site. They are the one that had one the right length. I just did not think 3" was thick enough??

Those Rhino cases look great. But I do not think I can afford almsot $600.

I was hoping to find one for $200 to $250 max.

I really like the Pelican cases. But they just don't make one the right size. But thanks for the recommendations. I will look at Americase again and see if I missed something. Thanks Again, Tom.

I believe if you call Americase, they will custom make you one in whatever length or width or thickness you desire, as will Rhino.

give StarLight a try, call them on the phone, they may even have a scratch and dent or production over run laying around.

That StarLight case looks like a nice one also. But it is like alot of the other cases I have seen. And it is 52" long. And that length case will not fit into my hunting vehicle. It is 1" too long. Can you believe that.

I will call Americase and see if they will make one two inches shorter. I think 5-1/2" is thick enough?? Thanks, Tom.
