I have a friend at work who has a standing order at all of the liquor stores around here. If they get a bottle in store, they call him.

You can also find the old Pappy stock under the Jefferson 18 yr. presidential reserve label. It's more available than Pappy at his time.

The best time to get pappy is Oct or Nov that's when it is bottled and made available to the stores. Now is the time to go to your favorite store and get on the waiting list.

My step mother used to work at the distillery. I have a connection there that will get me 2-3 bottles a year. That stuff is VERY limited in its release. What year do you like? 15, 20, 23?
I cannot promise I can get it for you and it will be pricey.....

My local "nice" liquor store told me the same thing as above. That they are expecting their shipment anytime now, but he said the same thing last year and I got squat. Its kinda funnt too, because the 20 and 23 sat behind the glass window forever and a day until i bought 1 of each and then have never seen it since.
As to what I prefer, 20, 15 and 23 in that order.
I'm always ready to pick some whenever i stumble upon it.
I appreciate any you can spare.

You should try finding it at an ABC store here in NC. I always get the dick on the forehead look.

I'll call the distillery. But they usually only hold 4 bottles of 23 for me a year.
