Gunsmithing I need help picking a barrel contour, I am building myself a precision Mosin Nagant

I am building myself a precision rifle from a Mosin. I am trying to pick a barrel contour this is for an all around precision rifle, some f class and general plinking.I am leaning towards the M24 contour. The cartridge will be 7.62x54r with a .308 bore. The blank is 25 inches long. What are your thoughts?. Thanks in advance for your help
