I just sent mine off to LRI to have DBM installed. I'll comment when I receive it back which, according to previous work they've done for me, should be relatively quickly.

In 2018, I sent my my 2003 vintage GAP 308 in a McMillan M40A1 stock to LRI to install PTG DBM bottom metal- they did a great job and turned it around in about 2 weeks. The nice thing is Chad already has made the computer programs to machine stocks for most of the DBM bottom metal out there. Is your Seekins bottom metal a DBM also because I think the Seekins DBM bottom metal was the Badger M5 inlet also.

So I had mine done from McMillan when ordered. Same bottom metal, same a5. I still had to sand a bit. It was simple 80 grit on a 1/2” dowel and just on my fingers. It comes together pretty quick. But it’s extremely messy. My guess would be if it already has a ai type bottom metal it’ll just be a little out of the corners. I would check to make sure you’re not paying 65-100$ for what is 5 min with a piece of sand paper.

When you got the stock back from LRI did the barrel and action fit back in nice and smooth.I am just wondering if the new inlet would effect my bedding in any way.
LRI inletted the DBM & opened the barrel channel first, then Jon bedded it together, to make sure it fit & fed right.
Might want to send it all to Chad to make sure it works when you get it back
