I would agree with this. I recently saw a story where he supposedly said confiscate them and worry about the due process later. To me that screams chess move. Just the kind of thing that will have the other side frothing at the mouth. But last I checked the due process clause is still in the constitution and while the courts might have a tendency to infringe on the second the fifth doesn't get that treatment. No way something like that happens without the court laughing it out of the chambers. Maybe, just maybe they let it slide if it's some extreme case of the dangerous behavior. But even then after you take them they will be in court defending that action.
He likes to hear himself talk. I've come to learn it's better to watch what he does not what he says.

Nothing these politicians do surprises me . They all lie, say whatever they can to got the votes and do whatever they choose regardless of what they have promised. To say I told you so about people supporting trump is pointless. Of the roughly 325 million people in the United States we were given the choice of eating a round turd and a square turd without knowing what was eaten to produce the turd. Most people just picked the turd that didn't smell as bad and looked slightly less grotesque. Additionally the nutritional content of the one turd seemed like a slightly healthier option.

I dont think Trump is the ninja master strategic thinker multi level chess player but he has been good at exposing he can say "Yes" to the Democrats and the next minute they expose their obstructionist selves by saying "Yes isnt good enough" and nothing changes but people see Chuck Schumer with his glasses sliding down his nose looking like an ass saying "Getting what we wanted isnt good enough".
Schumer has already made a statement that the proposed gun control isnt enough even though it includes increased background checks, bump stock bans and age limitations.
Reasonable people, ie people that are on neither side of the issue and dont realize the danger of losing rights, see Schumers act and start to get turned off.
It happened after Trump offered amnesty to 1.8 million dreamers. Schumer said not good enough even though it doubles the people Obam protected. Next thing you know dreamer spokespeople are saying Trump is a good guy and the DACA debate has died and gone away. Hopefully deportations start soon.

Oh, I am not advocating sitting on our asses at all, I was simply pointing out that Trump is not the Emperor and due process takes a minute to complete. I strongly support the engagement of our politicians through calls and emails. I also strongly ($$$) support the NRA and their lobbying efforts. I apologise if it came across as a lethargic response.
Due process does not exist anymore, the law has been usurped by the parties and the deep state, there is no "Justice" anymore. Prepare yourself for the worst because that is becoming a reality forced upon us by this unconstitutional, unlawful government. They will over play their hand and its happening right now.
