lost wages, nv (Vegas Baby :-)
well after a lot of thought here is what I want :) ( I could be wrong in my choices)

a build that is mostly stock for now ,,

either a T3 super varmint, or Remington 700 varmint in 7mm-08. (like stainless)

XLR tactical evoluition with folding stock, since
I'm only planning a 500 tp 700 yard rifle, prob a standard rail and rings for a burris 3X10 scope I have.. (for now)

the only smithing would be, trigger, cut barrel to 20", thread barrel, knob,

the remington has a 9 1/4 twist, while the T3 is a 9.5 (wish it was 8.5) I'd like to shoot
162's-168's.

but for now I can't handle the price of a re-barrel and action work ... I know if I stuck with a more traditional stock and metal
I might could do more smithing but I really like the Evolution stock system :)

so thoughts ??? and where can I find a T3 super V in 7mm-08 or the 700 varmint.

note:: all suggestions welcome just don't get
butt hurt is I go a different way :)
but I do want your thoughts ... thanks

Are you locked into a 7MM ?If not, take a look at Remmy 700 5r,comes in .308,SS threaded 20" barrel as well as the original 24".A little work on the X trigger & your good to go & will never have a hard time selling a 5R.You can also reach out to your distance in 168/170/175 & 190grainers.I have both a 20" & 24" & can't say enough good things about them.

yes on the 7mm-08, I have a couple of savage 99's for hunting
and I already have enough calibers to load as is, so I'm
not looking adding any new one. if so I'd be looking into
the 7mm wsm :) but thanks for the thought..

I'd buy a Savage action and a CBI prefit barrel. Order the barrel cut to your desired length and threaded the way you like it.

As alluded to above, the 7mm provides zero advantage over a 308 at ~600 yards.

A foot less drop and 10" less drift really isn't any advantage...
