New here, first post. I want to change the stock on my savage model 111, .300 win mag. "non accutrigger" to more of a tactical stock with an adjustable butt pad and cheek rise with a detachable 5-10 round magazine. It has a custom muzzle brake and a vortex viper pst 6-24x50 scope with an mrad reticle. Havent found anything tho. Thanks for any help!

Welcome mate.

When you are after a stock or any part on here it helps if you mention a budget and what you will be using it for.

If you are after a really decent stock for Savage then from my experience you normally end up paying a bit more unless you are handy with the DIY options.

Look at Stockade Stocks.. Pretty decent option there but there are others like Manners and Mc Millan but you pay a tad more for the full custom option.

Having said all this... get a stock you wont have to replace later on down the line.... I bought a Boyds which was fine but really wanted a Manners. Ended up paying for the Manners in the end.

Buy once , Cry once.

As far as magazines go, you will need new bottom metal. Pacific tool and Guage do a Savage option as do Atlas Worxs these will allow the use of AICS mags.
