Well like the title said, I need an extended barre and cannot find one.
I am thinking of geting a Taurus 24/7 barrel and have it cut down and threaded? seems like it should work to me?

Why put Corvette wheels on a Corolla? Yah, you could be that one street trash guy, but...

Buy a decent gun before you triple it's cost in a barrel/can.

As for using a 24/7 barrel, if the "Millennium Pro" you have is the model I'm thinking of, it won't work.

Well, I dont care what everyone says about Taurus, I have two and both have been great, my own opinion. '
My Millennium Pro is one of my favorite.

I used to work at a university, one of the students getting his ME degree was doing a thesis on manufacturing and did a paper on SW vs Taurus, couple if the things he found,

SW has slightly tighter design tolerances.
SW in their assembly area each assembler
has like 3 min per gun to assemble and fit, less work.

Taurus had better forging tech and forges a lot of their frames,
& they take over 10 minutes to assemble, needed more work.

I found neither company builds a revolver that I don't have to work over to get a good trigger on it. But either one can have a very very nice trigger. and they both have good average cylinder alignment.

Just .02 bucks worth...
