So basically I'm looking at building a 223 bolt action rifles and was just wondering if someone out there manufactures what I want specifically for under $1,500.00. I've found a few places that have what I want but I can't quite find everything. I found the Bell and Carson stock that I want.

But I'm still looking for a stainless, fluted, 26", bull barrel in .223. Does anyone make one of those in that exact spec? I would also like the extended mag attachment if they make one for the .223. So basically I want it to look something like this when it's done accept in .223 with stainless bull barrel.

Thanks guys.

Re: I would like suggestions on where to get parts.

You may be better off buying each part individually and taking it to a gunsmith to put it together.
This is what I come up with:
Remington SPS in 223 new is $500
Custom fluted barrel $450
Your stock is $451
Gunsmith to attach barrel to action $200-$250.
I am getting around $1600. You can cut cost by not fluting the barrel and finding a used action.
Or buy a Remington 223 R5 Mil-Spec and put the stock you want on it for around $1500.

Re: I would like suggestions on where to get parts.

-Bell and Carlson you picked on sale 387.00 (don't know if that is a good price or not but you can pm if you want to know where)
-Remington Donor action 400 or so used
-Brux barrel stainless fluted 385 (I would normally say kreiger/bartlein/rock ect but your on a budget and these guys seem to be putting out great barrels)
-Gunsmith work 350-450 (depends on who you use but thats for barrel install, truing, and trigger tune)

That will get you in the ball park for 1500 but you will have to use the factory bottom metal till you save up for a detachable mag kit. AI does make a 10rd .223 magazine and there is a big selection of bottom metal to work with them. CDI, Badger M5, Vbull, and the list goes on.

I like badger but CDI is only 209 with free shipping for you and I dont know if you will find a better bottom metal for less. Then you just have to order a mag or two. I would save up extra and get this before the gunsmith work so you can get him to inlet the stock while its there all at once.

Hope this helps
