I found some 7.62mm Nato Special Ball M118, Lot LC 85A135 brass marked LC 84 w/Nato imprint. Brass is NOT cannelured and the bullet is not HP, primers are crimped. Can anyone supply me with the cartridge info w/o me having to pull one apart and weighing and guessing the components? Thanks, Dennis

It should be a 173 gr full metal jacket bullet. It should be loaded with ball powder probably w846.It may or may not shoot to your satisfaction. It should be good enough to shoot steel.Who knows your rifle may shoot it fine.Good luck Richard

I went to the range today and shot 10 rounds of the SB M118 at 200 yds, after sighting in with a scope. The rifle was an AR-10 NM with a 3-15X42 scope @ 200 yds on the SR target. I was shooting off the bench. 5-X, 5-10 (2 @ 5 and 3 @ 7 about 1" from the x-ring.
