the new powder from Hodgdon, the CFE 223. Does it REALLY give top velocity? Did it reduce YOUR copper fouling at all? A lot? Any? I was at Cabela's today and of course they didn't have any. But they did say it had been selling like hotcakes and they can't keep it in stock. Like to hear thoughts of those that have used it to help me out here. Thanks for your time guys.

I've had pretty good results using it in my OBR (20" barrel) and custom remmy (18" barrel....both 7.62's)....45.5 gr with 175 smk gets me 2650 +\- 20 fps. Meters very well but sticks to everything (ball powder). I'd say give it a shot... I use it exclusively in my .223 ar's and yield some great velocities: 2800-2850 fps with 69 smk.
