Rifle Scopes Ideal LR Scope for Different Style Comps.

If you were in the process of building a rig for competing in various LR precision rifle comps including just sitting on a bench and shooting to 600,800,1000 yards to eventually dynamic comps where you would be shooting in field positions and under time limitations, what would you choose and why.

Let's put the upper limit on price as S&B PMII or Hensoldt FFP Tactical and the lower limit as Nightforce NXS.

I'm really trying to convince myself out of buying a S&B PMII 5-25x56 but it looks like there is no way around it.

I had this idea that everything I put on my rifle should be manufactured by an American company in America but it's just not working out....

I'm just going for the best quality at the best price now...

Top choices would be. I'd say they are in order as far as best highest quality and price.

S&B 5-25
Kahles 6-24 (though I haven't held one yet, I will soon)
Vortex 5-20 HD Razor
SWFA SS 5-20 HD (this one is the cheapest, but is a hell of a value and will do everything you need it to)

That would be great and I would definitely appreciate it. I would be able to meet you this Saturday in B'ham anytime if it was good for you?

That is very similar to my list right now in order of what I think would be best

S&B 5-25
Premier 5-25
Razor HD 5-20
SWFA 5-20

Out of curiosity,for the kind of activity he talked about why do you think higher of the kahles, S.S. and Vortex than the I.O.R , Nightforce? Features? Warranty? Reliability? Reticle?
