I have a manners stock on my rifle for NRL22 and the balance point is right on the magazine well, but I would like to move it a few inches forward where it balance over a bag on a barricade. Any ideas on how to add weight to the front? I already have a arca rail installed but I’m not afraid to modify the stock further. Maybe a clever way to add weights like you see on mlok chassis. Open to other ideas as well. Thanks.

Replace the rail with this one.

Replace the rail with this one.

Do you know if the hole spacing is the same as their 14 in universal rail? I currently have that one installed.

On an HS Stock, I ground out a small channel with a Dremel tool and used West System expoy to install the taped wheel weights. Worked quite well.

epoxy, epoxy, epoxy. NOT Expose. How I hate spell check.

Years ago, I used a Dremel to cut a pocket into the barrel channel, then filled a plastic bag with enough lead shot to fill the pocket flush with the barrel channel contour. I then added a small amount of epoxy to the lead shot in the bag, and squeezed/manipulated the bag until the shot was essentially coated.

The bag was wiped clean on the outside, then inserted and pushed down into the pocket, flush with the channel's contour, and allowed to completely cure.

When/if needed, the modification can be removed by simply prying out the bag. I really like to avoid mods that can't be reversed.
