Ideas for cleaning dies???

So my dies are covered in surface rust anyone have any ideas to remove the rust... Other than hitting them with a wire brush? I was hoping there is something I can dip them in.

WD-40, 0000 steel wool, elbow grease

Phosphoric acid (Naval jelly) eats rust. You'll still need to scrub it a bit, bit it will get all the rust in the pits and whatnot.

I tried that (steel wool) it takes forever!!! I'm thinking about throwing them in the tumbler for a couple hours.


IM going to give the navel jelly a try.

CLR like in the TV advertisement's.
Degrease first.

Just dip them in there, after degreasing?
