identify this

i know this is a sig p229, but doesnt appear to be just a standard two tone as notice not just the slide but the slide lock, hammer, hammer safety release and trigger all stainless as well..never seen a two tone look like this.. any help would be appreciated..

I've seen a lot of our guys with two-tones like that. I'm not sure it is a different varient or just a time period Sig added the stainless controls to the two-tone package.

You can buy the stainless parts at midway. They are fairly cheap so alot of guys change them out to be different. I think they look better the other way.

Looks like it might have been sent in and NP3 coated.

He probably had it converted to two tone with a coating and had the controls done to match. Pretty common.

If you look around it was something Sig offered. I sold one last year like that.
