Range Report If you had to.......10.3 in ddm4v7P

Has anybody shot tested or hunted or have experience with shooting things with a 10.3 inch 5.56?
What bullet do you choose in you had to defend yourself in a bad spot out to 50yards or animals from coyote to people would you choose a heavier bthp in 75 gr ish, or a 62 ish grain soft point

77tmk at Mk262 velocities.

My 10.3" 1:7 SOCOM profile did the Green circled is 5 rounds 77SMK black hills at 50 yards. 1 inch squares

^^^^^^^^^^ I agree. We run 62gr bonded in our 10.3 patrol rifles, and they're not the best at all (wish we could switch). While doing some testing with different bullets the 77SMK's consistently gave us the best result. Our zero was 50 and walked it back to 100 yards plus, with good results still.
