And you, GF?
Steed, John Steed. Why ? Honor Blackman (Cathy Gale), Dianna Rigg (Emma Peel).......Gawd, what a no-brainer.
When I was in college, I worked as a Union Stagehand. I was on the Props crew for the musical "Colette" at the 5th Avenue Theater, which starred my adolescent crush, one Ms. Dianna Rigg. My job ? to stand in the offstage left wings, holding EMMA PEEL'S bathrobe for the finale when she came running offstage, straight at me, wearing nothing from the waist up. Talk about a dream job. I think they paid me too, but I'm not sure. Wouldn't have mattered anyway. Monumentally epic moment(s). The show ran for two, blissfully, wonderful weeks. In all seriousness, she was and is a stupendous person. Class and grace all the way. Oh, Honor Blackman, Goldfinger, Pussy Galore. Enough said. I was 7 years old and named my first cat after her (Pussy Galore). I could never figure out why my parents and their friends would break out in hysterical laughter whenever I called that cat.

Sirh - these are scanned images from photographs - 1996. I was based out of Caldwel Idaho back then. Didn't own a digital camera until around 2007.
Sold the plane after moving back to Wisconsin. After several years of backcountry and mountain flying it just wasn't the same.
It's power by a souped-up Lycoming O-360 (200 HP). Flying a light (1050 lbs.) powerful stick & rudder aircraft into backcountry is an experience I will never forget.
The first plane I ever flew in was a Piper Cub. I was about 12. The plane belonged to the local CAP. The pilot actually landed it on a field here at Schloss Nitrocellulose (my boyhood home) and took off again so my folks could see me... in a plane! It was an awesome experience. I always thought that if I ever caught the flying bug (I haven't) that the only plane I would ever want would be a Piper Cub! Or a great facsimile thereof... which is what your picture appears to be!
Awesome. Very, very impressed!
Cheers,
Sirhr
John Wayne..
My Mother is a huge John Wayne Fan and when I was born at 12lbs 9oz my mother decided to name me Jacob, from the movie Big Jake, starring John Wayne as Jacob McCandles. Now you all know the truth behind my Username..
