Yesterday was the best day of my life. My son Hunter was born coming in at 6lb 14oz. Both my wife and son are doing great. Im 41 I held out for a long time. Better late than never. Im very lucky to have such an incredible wife. Looking forward to the years to come. Hunter is already a member of the NRA and he was dressed in a cool camp outfit from Browning. If Im lucky we will share some of the same interests.

Man thats just Awesome! I'm a new Dad too, to my 3 month old Son Archer! I'm 33 wifes 30 been together 12 years...yeah better late than never. Can not imagine loving anyone else more than my Son. So what if we get a senior citizen discount at there High School graduation....Ha.

I'm 48 and my two boys just turned 8 months. You are in for a life-changing but absolutely awesome time. Enjoy the early days...they really do grow up too fast.

Congrats! My oldest son is named Hunter. From my first marriage he is 19 and a good kid. I'm 42, my wife is 32 and she is currently pregnant with #4 for us together.

Congrats, man! I'm in my late 30s with a very lively 2-year-old, which gives me a great excuse to play with Matchbox cars and Tonka trucks again.

As far as your son's desire to share your interests, it's amazing how much boys tend to want to be like dad. If I'm doing something, my son needs to be right there "helping":

Congrats, my son is 3-1/2 now. I figure around 4 or 5, he will be ready to take the .22 out. But, they grow way too fast. They grow quick so enjoy it. Speaking of which, I wanted to get him a set of ACUs, but I gotta get em big cause he will shoot right out of them.

We had two daughters. Combined they had 3 kids. Now the oldest grand daughter is expecting.

My boy is 5 months old today. Damn he is a cutie can't be mine. Can't wait to take him out camping,shooting ect. Seem to be building more guns than shooting but its all good. Congrats man!!! I have three and one on the way. My eldest two (girls) live with their mom in VA and my son is 14 months with his younger brother coming ANY DAY!! We were actually in the hospital Saturday thinking it was time but he's a stubborn boy. Like his mom. :D

Congrats!

Best advice I ever got as a new dad: give him lots of tummy time, every day. They will get strong in a hurry, even though they seem to struggle at first.
 
Congrats! They grow up fast. My newest is almost five months old. I hope you were able to cherish your sleep before the kid, because you won't get much for a while.
