I'm in love...

Re: I'm in love...

Should be a decent lightweight. I never understood why they used to do the mountain rifles with the heavy laminate. I have a first gen Ti rifle in 30-06 and it's pretty easy to pack around.

Re: I'm in love...

Dr I have two that i love.. My first was the older mountain with walnut stock and a dbm. I liked it so much i got the lss in the same caliber .270. They are light and handle very well for me while hunting out of treestands. I am getting 3/4 groups at 100 with handloads out of the lss a little bigger with the older blued model which i am perfectly happy with. Both guns have dropped more then a few deer for me. Top them with some good glass and i am sure you will be more then pleased with one..

Re: I'm in love...

if i had mountains to hunt i would buy one of those. instead i have to walk a half mile at most across a cut corn field to a tree stand and im only packing in a mathews z7 extreme. when if kill i just use the four wheeler to haul it out
