I think that you would have vastly better luck in...oh...say...maybe a forum dedicated to turkey hunting instead of long-range, precision rifle shooting.

You wouldnt want to be shooting these turkeys at 1000 yards would you? For that i would think a counter sniper on a ruger 10/22 would do it.

While I have never been able to scrape together the serious coin required to own one of the true jems of the optic world.
BSA is where the savvy big game hunters shop.

The ONLY optic that will work for turkey shooting is the Zeiss/Hensoldt 6-24x72 SAM.
Check it out. I have 3.

You have seriously got to be kidding me? First of all I dont know anyone who even uses a scope for turkey! Second, just as OD asked, why in the FACK would you post this question here? I think this is a joke! Someone on the hide has created an account for fun and is trying to be funny.... thats the only reason I can think someone would ask about a scope for hunting when theres dozens of threads answering this very question in the HUNTING forum!! This is why people make fun of "NOOBS" all the time! B/C they ask stupid ass questions!! Let me guess... next youre going to want to know what caliber rifle you should use for duck hunting!

a 22 makes a great duck rifle, the sound doesnt carry far and could easily be just some kids plinking.

No i figure he will want to go into the great scope debate about whats better and what you should get... shortly followed by the I have $500 tell me what to buy to hit 1500yds... quickly followed up by telling us we are all wrong and someone at his range did it some other way.

I will sell you an IOR Valdada for $2000!!! hahaha. Its PERFECT for big game. With this scope you can even shoot a T-REX!!

Okay...since this seems to be continuing...I'll cast my vote on the best "big game" rifle scopes as being the following manufacturers...you'll have to choose how much magnification you want/need:
1) Anything from the CounterSniper lineup;
2) Anything from the BSA lineup;
3) Anything from the ATN lineup; and
4) Anything from the NcStar lineup (pay extra close attention to the "combo" lineup as you'll want the added advantages of both a magnified optic and a laser).

i'm a little curious...OP what firearm are you using for turkey hunting....round' these here parts we use shotguns for that purpose...just a thought
