The Vortex. Better reticle and FFP.

Apples to oranges.
For apples to apples, look at the Bushy ET6245FG... mil/mil, 6-24x50 FFP and G2DMR reticle, better than any reticle Vortex offers.
It's what I run on my LR AR. With an ADM Recon 20 MOA mount I'm a few mils from the hard limit with a 100 yard zero and I've got 17 mils of elevation left... I call it my quasi-zero stop.

OTOH if you need illumination, the Viper is the way to go. They, too, have great glass for the money, but the FOV is obscured when the elevation is towards the upper or lower limit (I call it shrouding) whareas the Bushy has no tunneling or shrouding.
