So I learn this morning that SureFire has come out with (probably a decent amount of time ago) FAXXXSS Suppressor Adapters that dont require a $200 muzzle profile to be done by a smith... Hell, they even sell them for factory rifle muzzle dimensions...

Sake TRG, AIAWM, AR30.... all of which have muzzle profiles that cost a fraction of the price of the "¾-24 muzzle threads and 2.75" barrel overlap clearance with max .890" barrel diameter" thats a pain in the dick...

Thanks SureFire...

Re: Screw you SureFire

I don't understand your post. Are you seriously mad about this or are you upset that you just found out this information? PM me if you have a problem please.

Re: Screw you SureFire

If you spent $800 getting your muzzle threaded and profiled.... you got ripped off. I would be mad at myself for agreeing to pay that much.

Re: Screw you SureFire

If you are talking about our 338 muzzle brakes that will accomodate a .890 OD barrel, we have been making those since we started making .338 cans which was before I started with SureFire almost 4 years ago.

Re: Screw you SureFire

Looks like he got 4 rifles done at $200 a piece and is really mad at himself not Surefire. Kind of like a Dohhhh, moment.

Thats how I read it. Surefire is a great company to deal with, That's been my experience for quite a long time.

Re: Screw you SureFire

Maybe I just never looked in the right spot, but Ive ordered 4 seperate .338 brakes for multiple barrels from SF dealers. (KYS338 - $200 per muzzle)

I had no idea SureFire made these in factory muzzle profiles 1.5 years ago, only ¾-24 threads and 2.75" overlap clearance @ max .890" diameter.

As of 2009 (Time of first purchase) this covered every QD brake SF offered... Notice only one .338 Cal brake profile listed (#4).
<span style="font-weight: bold">Demesion B also changed from 2.145" to 2.75"</span>...weird.
Will NEW brakes work with the profile listed below?

SureFire products and CS, I love it. Im just pissed that they recently advertised these, or even more pissed I couldnt find them a year ago.

Re: Screw you SureFire

Not their problem you didn't do some research on them. It's not necessary to bad mouth them like this. As Chuck has said, the different brakes have been around for awhile.

Re: Screw you SureFire

Well I guess that makes me an idiot for not looking hard enough. I could have saved myself alot of coin. I hope Im not coming of as saying SureFire sucks, I have $2,500 worth of thier products bolted onto my rifle and am happy to say I use thier kit.

About the Demension B changing from 2.145" to 2.75"
Will a newly purchased SureFire Brake fit a muzzle with the old profile?

Re: Screw you SureFire

"Screw you Surefire" sure sounds a lot like "Surefire Sucks".
I would change your title to reflect what you meant more. Kind of like "I didnt do my research but..."

Just sayin
