Well he may care only slightly less than Texas Senator Teddy Cruz- for the second time he left his state after disaster struck - this time boarding a plane to Greece after a state wide emergency and touring ancient ruins while the body count passed 80.

A few years back when “his” state lost power he took his family to their villa in Mexico- guess he’s gotta spend his AIPAC money somewhere

As a side note - type in AIPAC and I’ll be damned of money doesn’t pop up as the next word - funny that .

Shh!

You’ll get called a “liberal” for pointing out these inconsistencies :ROFLMAO:

And what diffrence does it make if a senator leaves his state when there is an "emergency." Not one? Ya that's it.
As a representative of Texas, it looks bad. I doubt it made any difference as he was never going to put his ass on the line to rescue anyone and sure isn’t going to get his feet dirty in a search for the missing and deceased.

I was in La Porte, Tx in the 60's and part of the 70's, back then almost all of the adults running stuff had served in WWII and civil defense type stuff was well run and coordinated.

An example, 2nd or 3rd grade, a hurricane was bearing down upon us, all of us little ones went to school like any other day to keep us out of the way of the adults busily preparing for the onslaught. And, those caring for us there at school actually could do the job back then.

Certain events require personal responsibility. People with a history of having worked together for a common result just do better.

Coordinating effort for the better outcome escapes far too many, like those who ask, what are you going to do for me?

There are still plenty in Texas that know how to help each other.

No, it's something for dipshits to cry about. Nothing else. If it looks bad to someone it's because theyre a retard. A senator isn't searching for survivors, leading any rescue efforts, or in charge of any sort of response or funding allocation. All a senator is an emergency is a warm body looking for a photo op.

I personally don’t give a fuck.

Ted Cruz is still better than ANY demokrat. Also better than many repubs that might primary him. In the end, if it's Ted Cruz running in the general election to keep his Senate seat- he's the one to vote for.

One always has to consider the source of the whining: bitter dicks, the miserable cunnies full of contempt that for example regularly rail against Law Enf, rant about most any politician, despite the fact that both those positions require that SOMEBODY do them... They're the types of bitter dicks/miserable cunnies who hate women, because no woman could put up with them!

Saw him at the press conference yesterday. More than I can say for any other politicians.

What search and rescue skills do you expect your elected representatives to have?

At this point im almost starting to wonder what's worse, a one term dem, or a lifelong rino ?

Most republicans now seem to be selling us out just as bad as the dems.

Damned if they do and damned if they don’t. 🤷🏿‍♂️

I really don’t care. It was my opinion that it was a bad look. Hard to say you care about your constituents if ya don’t show up. Optics count in politics. Pretty sure I had stated he wasn’t gonna do anything had he been there.

Your opinion is no one actually involved in the search and rescue effort wanted him there as he would be in the way. I agree with that. He wasn’t in the way, lol

POS New York a-hole. Not sure how he is going to investigate seeing that he isn't the majority leader anymore.

Chucky SKOOMER is one of those guys who wore the KICK ME! sign in jr high and hs and he's still trying to get revenge for it.

How many times do you need to see the term “uni-party” before it sinks in?
