I noticed on a new 8-32x56 NSX Zero stop scope the extreme edge of the field of view has some barreling. Vertical lines tend to bow outward a little. Not bad and certainly does not appear in the center. Not really a problem, but visible. In looking thru the S&B PMII 5-25x56 this was very slightly noticeable in reverse, but really not detectable unless you really look hard. I have NSX and PMII and was thinking about a Premier as I have not used one of those yet. Anyone have any comments?

Re: Image barreling on NXS

I checked my 5-25x50 NXS and it has the same issue at low power setting with image barreling. Very noticeable slightly off center.
My 2.5-10x32 NXS ZS exhibits much less barreling. Does not affect your hitting target, but is annoying in a premium scope.
S&B PMII has done a better job in optical design, at a price.
