I just installed a thunderbeast muzzle brake on my dta and to the naked eye it looks completely level. To a bubble level it seems to be about 99% level. I'm just curious how much this matters in terms of performance/accuracy. I'd imagine not at all but would like to hear what people have to say.

it shouldn't affect accuracy at all though indexing it up and down may get dirt blasted in your face. get it close and be happy. Practice shooting will gain you more than all the doo-dads and widgets out there.
An alternative is to put a suppressor on the rifle. It does better than a brake for recoil reduction and cuts the noise as well. No need to index it and no blowback of dirt, crap or pissed of guys on nearby benches either. My DT brake has about 25 rounds through it. The other 1000plus of 338LM are through the can.....once you use a suppressor the brake is useless.

That's the idea. Unfortunately I've been waiting for 2 months on my thunderbeast and I feel like it will be another 8 or so before I see my can :/
