To make a long story short, my uncle who I've been storing a few handguns for is moving to Germany for two years and wants to possibly take two handguns with him. One Glock and a revolver. I'm aware anything has to go through customs and some country's allow guns to be imported and some don't.

I was wondering if somebody with the experience or knowledge about this can tell me if it can be done for Germany? I've been told you can and its very hard and I've also been told you can't at all. If you can, what is the process.

    Thanks.

My friend is PCSing to Germany in a couple weeks. Ill get some info from him tomorrow and pass it along. I do know that you cannot concealed carry and you can only transport them to and from the range/hunt. There are some models that are prohibited and they must be stored in a government approved safe that there are only 2 or 3 different models of. They have some crazy gun laws that make NY look free. I'm not sure about the logistics though. Ill have more info for you tomorrow.

There is a lot you have to do. Germany is a NATO country, so that helps a whole lot as far as export restrictions on the USA side of stuff.

You might be better off hiring a an export broker with experiences with these things. They will most likely have contacts in Germany to be your import broker.
