IMR 4350 question??? Some showed up at my fishing tackle shop.

Is there any difference between H4350 and IMR 4350?

I picked up a pound to try

loaded it up the exact same as i do with h4350 in my 6.5 creedmoor 41.6g
It had the exact same poi and the dope matched at every distance we tried
Only thing i noticed, it was alot dirtier than h4350. It kinda looked like the smoke from an old cannon going off lol

$25 is a decent price, $35 is way too high. IMR4350 is a very versatile powder, just about right for a .260 with most bullet weights. It's one of the most popular powders out there.

Here's my results, I think it varies by caliber.

Way expensive, but that's how it goes these days.
I settled on Accurate 4350 when H4350 became rare as hen's teeth.
Accurate 4350 is a good bit less temperature sensitive than IMR 4350, at least according to Hodgdon, plus I was actually able to buy a bunch.
IMR 4350, with some load development, will work quite well in your .260s, but if you shoot at temperature extremes you may see a good deal of MV variation.
This chart shows the MV spread between 0 and 125 degrees F.

I bought 3 lbs of AA4350 after H4350 went extinct. I could never get it to shoot in my 6XC for some reason. 115gr DTAC, 105gr Berger, 105gr Norma, 105gr Hornady all shot near 1 MOA with AA4350, where they are all closer to .5 MOA with H4350 or IMR 4350.

I run IMR 4350 through everything I can ! Easy to find and great reliability. I run 30-06/25-06/243/260/300wsm/7mag/280rem and I couldn't ask for better results
