Wondering if any of you have tried IMR 7977 in their 300 PRC loads? I understand this is supposed to be similar to H1000. I've got a jug on IMR 7977 I'm hoping to use with the 250 atip.

Good deal, appreciate the info. I've got some H1000 on hand that I'll use with the 250 atip.... Just hoping to find somewhere to use the 7977 with success.
Look at hodgdon load data for the 250 atip on 300prc. Best speed is us 869, which is the slowest burning powder there appears to be. So it looks like you need extremely slow powders for the 250 atip. I think the 7977 is a bit too fast to get top velocity.
