Join contest SubscribeYou can't blow primers and survive, back it down more. What were your speeds, you should always chrono test loads?Well I started at 58 gr 8133 worked up to 65.5 a half grain at a time no pressure signs at all, 66gr blew a primer...So I dropped back to 64.5 gr, first two no problem third blew another primer! All pockets were tight when seated...Accuracy was 1 hole at 130 yds with the 64.5 gr load...Any clues?
Would make me tend to think it isn't the best choice for short-fat cases. Maybe good for 300PRC and the like?I did Chrono all loads from the start. Went from 2830 to 3179 at 66 gr. 64.5 grain loads averaged at around 3100, which is still below what I was getting with H1000.
